Tokyo Beast has announced that its highly anticipated $1 million Gaming Championship will officially begin on Saturday, June 21, at 7:00 PM PST.
This tournament marks the game’s largest competition to date, featuring a top prize of approximately $14,500 and live commentary on the official Tokyo Beast Twitch channel. Additional rewards worth $34,500 will also be distributed through the game’s HIT5 payout system across multiple modes.
Double Rewards and Viewer Predictions
The championship includes more than just the top prize. Players competing in the BASE and TRIALS modes can also earn bonuses through the HIT5 system, making this event the most rewarding in the game’s history.
For spectators, Tokyo Beast is offering interactive features like prediction betting using CHAMPIONSHIP CHIPs. During championship week, users will receive two chips daily instead of the usual one, increasing chances to win rewards by placing accurate predictions.
Tokyo Beast first announced its $1M championship in March 2025. A $20,000 closed beta followed in April, where 200 selected players tested early features and competed for token rewards. In early June, a Special Early Access event invited 3,000 players to experience the 4v4 “Matchup” mode. The event included a $160,000 prize pool and rewarded players for both in-game performance and social media engagement.
Official Launch and Early Competitions
The game officially launched on June 8, built on Immutable’s blockchain infrastructure. A smaller championship was held on June 14, awarding $3,500 to the winner. However, a key bonus awaits returning players: anyone who competed on both June 14 and June 21 will receive an extra $700 in tokens, guaranteed.
Set in a futuristic Tokyo in the year 2124, Tokyo Beast lets players collect and upgrade android fighters called BEASTs. In BASE mode, players manage their assets, breed new BEASTs, and stake TGT tokens. In TRIALS mode, teams enter 3D auto-battles where smart team-building is key to success.
The platform also supports a betting system for match outcomes, and it’s fully accessible without a crypto wallet. The game’s native token, TGT, launched in May and is used for upgrades, entries, and staking. Additionally, 500 VIP NFTs have been released, offering early access and exclusive in-game perks.
What’s Coming This Weekend
The June 21 event promises major payouts. The runner-up will take home around $5,200, and prizes will be given down to the top 20 players, with the minimum being $700. All rewards will be distributed in TGT tokens, with values based on a fixed token rate but subject to market changes.
With its global launch, interactive features, and growing prize pools, Tokyo Beast is positioning itself as a major player in competitive blockchain gaming.
